The Town of Lovettsville is honored to announce that Captain Daniel L. Jensen, U.S. Space Force will be this year’s Keynote Speaker for our upcoming Lovettsville Veterans Day Ceremony on Monday, November 11th at 11:00AM.

Captain Daniel L. Jensen is the Chief of Special Activities Branch within the Office of Space Launch, National Reconnaissance Office. Prior to this assignment, he served as a Space Force Government Mission Integration Manager, Assured Access to Space, Space Systems Command, directly managing launch and integration of classified satellite systems for the Department of Defense and Intelligence Community including integrating and launching the first National Security Space Launch of SpaceX’s Falcon Heavy and initiating the first five integrations for United Launch Alliance’s new Vulcan launch vehicle.

Captain Jensen began his career serving as an Intelligence Officer directly supporting F-16 operations specializing in Suppression of Enemy Air Defenses and training of North Atlantic Treaty Organization members in defense of the European mainland. This operational experience assignment provided him firsthand experience employing intelligence products to directly inform and influence warfighter tactics. His assignments include serving as a Branch Chief, Mission Manager, Deputy Chief for Weapons, Intelligence and Tactics, Fighter Squadron Intelligence Chief, and Executive Officer.

Captain Jensen is a graduate of the United States Air Force Academy. His major military decorations include the Air Force Commendation Medal, and Air Force Achievement Medal. Other achievements include being a 2017 Distinguished Graduate of the Intelligence Officer Course and being named the 2022 Wing-Equivalent Company Grade Officer of the Year.
