MayFest Cancelled
A MESSAGE FROM MAYOR HORNBAKER:
In anticipation of Saturday’s storms, the Town of Lovettsville has made the difficult decision to cancel this year’s Lovettsville MayFest. Communication will be sent to all vendors with next steps, and questions may be sent to [email protected]. Please join us in thanking the MayFest Subcommittee for all their hard work over the past year as they planned for this year’s festival. While it seems that we are more than making up for the missing rain during last year’s drought, what is great for our Lovettsville area farmers and gardeners is not so great for outdoor events.
While MayFest may be cancelled, our next event is right around the corner as we kick off our Lovettsville’s Summer on the Green Music and Concert series with The Sandlot on Saturday, May 25th sponsored by the Lovettsville Lions Club. We look forward to seeing you there at 7:45PM as we hold our ribbon cutting ceremony and unveil our NEW Walker Pavilion enhancements.
Finally, please note that while MayFest has been cancelled, the Spring Farm Tour this weekend will continue as planned.
