Lovettsville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Company
The Lovettsville Rescue Squad received it charter in 1966. In 1967, a fire company was created and combined with the rescue squad to form one company in 1968. The current building was erected in 1974 and has had two subsequent additions built.
The Town of Lovettsville worked with Loudoun County and the Lovettsville Volunteer Rescue and Fire Company to annex the fire station property by a boundary line adjustment in 2018. Loudoun County plans to build a new fire station on the property. For more information, click HERE.
Fire Station 12 houses an engine, tanker, basic life support ambulance, and brush truck. Staffing for these units is provided by career personnel alongside the Lovettsville Volunteer Fire and Rescue.
