Town Parks
The Town of Lovettsville currently has two active public park spaces, the Town Square (the rectangular area that everyone using Berlin Pike drives around) and the Town Green (the larger open park property located within the Town Center development, west of the Town Square). These spaces can be used for picnicking, walking, and other passive recreational uses. Click on the Park Name to find out more about the amenities and activities.
Quarter Branch Park, located at the corner of Quarter Branch Road and Lange Drive, is the home of the Community Gardens and the Support Facility, commonly referred to as the Barn. The Park also offers a mowed grass trail around the flat area to the south of the Barn for those looking for a place for a quiet walk.
The Bike Park is located across from the northend of the Town Square. The local 7-Eleven partnered with the Town to develop a small bike park on the grass area just east of their site, as part of the redevelopment of their site. The Town obtained permission to locate the park within the VDOT Right of Way and 7-Eleven installed a picnic table and shelter for shade, trash can, bike rack and a bike fixit station complete with an air pump. Bicycle enthusiasts can use this location as a rest stop when they travel through Lovettsville, and residents, customers from the businesses and visitors to Lovettsville are also welcome to use the facilities.
