Quarter Branch Park is a 6+ acre parcel of land fronting on Quarter Branch Road and Lange Drive, which was gifted to the Town by the developer of New Town Meadows in 2005. A trail is mowed around the field behind the Barn for use as a walking path and includes a dog waste station for those bringing their dogs along. The Park is the home of the Community Gardens where residents have the option to rent a garden plot to grow vegetables in the summer.  See our Operating Hours & Rules

Long term plans for the park include upgrading of the trail to a rock dust trail with possible addition of fitness stations, park benches, and a nature trail in the lower treed area at the back of the property. The Park will continue to receive improvements following the Concept Plan as the funding becomes available.

The Barn was constructed in August 2013 and is used as a support facility for the Town to storage of event and maintenance supplies. A restroom for use by Park visitors is also planned for the future when the interior office finishing occurs.

The Quarter Branch Park Concept Plan for the park was developed and approved by Town Council in 2012.
